“ Pretty good fish and chips store. Brought the family pack. Serving was plentiful for a family of 5. Reasonably priced. Fish was the standout. Chips were average and wasn’t homemade. But the their other offerings eg scallops, seafood sticks and calamari’s we good too. Plus they do have seating and 3 tables inside if you wanted to dine in. Service was quick and friendly but did order during the quiet period. There is parking lot across the road and street parking as the store is located in a corner. Overall very satisfied with the store and will come again. ”

“ This place gets it right. Fresh seafood cooked to order. Prices are very reasonable. It’s a good old fashioned fish n chip shop that has been in the area for many years. Deep fried or grilled. Great burgers, they serve up fast, fresh and hot. Also have good variety of salads and lots sides on offer. Highly recommend trying the deep fried mars bars or deep fried snickers, especially if you’ve never tried one of those bad boys before. ”

“ When you see a old Asian lady cooking you know the food's going to be great. Fish was cooked to perfection. Chip sizes are huge. We couldnt even finish half a large between 4 adults. The Pluto Pup was a bit undercooked. Otherwise 5 stars. ”

“ Located on the outskirts in the heart of Maroubra on Anzac Parade. Easy to get to by public bus (any of the 390 numbered route buses) from Juniors Kingsford Light-rail station, of where the light-rail finishes. Thanks to Philip & his sister Hirani and the gang, who make amazing fish and chips (one of the very few best in Sydney..lightly battered [not pale] - you can see by the attached photos), and their normal battered fish and fish cocktails are Gem fish, and have great crumbed calamari rings too; not soft, but chewy and not too hard. And their potato scallops (more like potato cakes), are some of the best going. Their burgers aren't bad either. Even their Flathead is really tasty too, as well as their salads. 4.5/5 star. PS. The photos are all in the months of Feb-March 2023, while I was there. ”
